Queen’s birthday long
weekend and the weekend spent at Poplars camp area We decided to swag both
nights instead of dirtying the camper. Arrived around lunch time on Saturday
where the others had already arrived and set up Vicki & Ug, Nikki &
Malcolm and Keith a spot was saved for us and we set up the “Hilton” for the 2
nights had been raining at camp all morning but the afternoon certainly cleared
for a great weekend. Temp’s were mild overnight but a few hot water bottles and
nice and warm in the swags.
We
went for a drive around the state forest exploring other camp areas came across
a camp called Latrobe River Campground the place was closed but a few logs
were gathered and bought back for the Sunday nights camp, A roast of pork on
the Ozpig and veggies were prepared by all a sensational “shared” meal something
we will doing the future as much easier all round.

around the fire as usual a great weekend
Packed up Monday morning
breakfast at Healsvile “Betchworth” bakery a very popular place then home,
unpacked, picked up the Mut and home relaxing by 3pm.
