Lake Lascelles, Hopetoun Vic (Silo tour)

Linda & I Spent the weekend away with a great bunch of people who we camp with regularly and have become good friends (Brian & Wendy, Malcolm & Nikki and Vic & Ug) completing the newest attraction in Vic the Silotour, we started the drive from the most southern Silo and camped overnight at Lake Sdcce .  the Silo tour itself is over 200km, we stopped for a pub meal along the way at the Creekside Hotel (brilliant) and some spent up big in the local op shop prior

Finally pulling into camp around 5:45pm after the starting the day at the first silo around 11:30am after helping some guys in Harley Davidson’s who had broken down at the last stop

Set up camp at Lake Lascelles and the wind was blowing a gale eventually had the turn the car around to create a wind break, may hours around the fire talking BS before bed at midnight, there was a party on what looked like in an onsite venue where the dof, dof music continued to around 4am, seriously !!! the lake was full and we were on the other side god help those who were closer than us.

Little sleep overnight and up at first light to get a coffee and pack up for an early departure traveled back with Hutchie + Wendy via Sea Lake, Swan Hill and Echuca to home. We have not been up this way before and will do some research for a later date. Managed to hit 2 birds along the way looked in the mirror after hitting the 2nd and feathers everywhere Linda got out and checked all good so we continued home to unpack, clean up and plan our next weekend
