Kryal Castle, Ballarat Vic

Weekend away with some good friends basically a follow-up from last years x-mas in July Hutchie & Wendy. Scott & Sue, Malcolm & Nikki and UG and Vicki @ Kryal Castle for a murder mystery night including dinner and a room in the castle

Arrived around midday strolled around the castle, watched a jostling event then in the Ballart for beer, coffee and something to do.

Great dinner in the Castle restaurant and a mystery murder to solve in between courses, was actually not too bad and a room to sleep the night off in the castle woke early then off to Daylesford for breakfast home around lunch and another great weekend with some friends

Dead River Beach, Cobram VIC

Another long weekend (Labour Day) left work early on the Friday and arrived at camp around 1pm this time we went to Dead River Beach, Cobram for us around an hour from home. 

Arrived where Malcolm + Nikki & Hutchie + Wendy were already set up and saved us a spot on the end of the beach latter Vic + Graham and 2 grandchildren, great location and not as packed as we expected given a long weekend latter in the afternoon Jamie +Fee also arrived

Took the Mut with us as it was his birthday a lazy weekend little driving around the area, in the river both days, afternoon drinks and talking BS around the campfire to late all in all another nice weekend away with friend’s
